Europe gets Limited Edition Star Ocean: The Last Hope

Yesterday Square Enix has announced that they will release a Limited Collector's Edition of Star Ocean: The Last Hope across Europe.


The Limited Collector's Edition contains the Star Ocean Soundtrack Compilation CD, five Star Ocean: The Last Hope character cards, the 32 pages official miniguide from Brady Games and the game covered on 3 discs.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released in Europe on 5 June.

Square Enix has announced that Star Ocean: The Last Hope hits Europe on 5 June. Square Enix took the time to translate the menu screens and subtitles into French, German, Spanish and Italian.

I'm sorry for posting this kinda late. Things are a little hectic here lately.

There's a rumor on the internet that Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released on the PlayStation 3 after a scan from the latest Famitsu magazine has appeared.

During a Star Ocean: The Last Hope press event Yoshinori Yamagishi, the producer of the game, has announced that Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released in Europe this June. No exact date has been set.

The game was first set for a release this Spring and some websites announced that it will be released 24 April, but it seems European fans have to wait for a while.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope released in North America!

Today is the day you've all been waiting for: Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been released in North America! If you live in Europe, you have to wait a little longer.

There are some changes made in the English version, like the character portraits that are CG models instead of anime faces. Also the menu has a different background which looks more blue.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope sold 131,000 copies in Japan

On the first day of the release of Star Ocean: The Last Hope in Japan, Square Enix has sold 131,000 copies of the game. Thereby the game is the best selling game for the Xbox 360 in Japan on its day of release.

The game is only 3 days away from its American release. If you can't get enough of the videos lately, GameTrailers has added a preview of the game.

Square Enix has released another trailer from Star Ocean: The Last Hope. This time it's a long Japanese trailer showing in-game scenes and the playable characters in the game.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released on 19 February in Japan and 24 February in North America. An European release is set for this Spring.

First English trailer Star Ocean: The Last Hope!

Microsoft has released a new trailer from Star Ocean: The Last Hope. It appears to be the first English trailer from the game.

The game will be released on 19 February in Japan, 24 February in North America and 24 April in Europe.

Yesterday Square Enix has launched their official United States website about Star Ocean: The Last Hope. On the website you can now only find information about the characters and the storyline. Information about the gameplay, trailers and multimedia will be coming soon. Please bare in mind that you need a pretty good computer if you want to view this website, because its fully in flash.
